As any dedicated fan knows, My Chemical Romance is beginning their new U.S. Tour with a stop at the Tempe Music Festival in Tempe, AZ. Also headlining, is Fergie. Questionable combo to say the least, if you ask me. I suppose they are trying to appeal to other music genre fans, but lets be honest… Fergie? Okay moving on, the Arizona Republic has gone so far as to compare the Tempe festival with Coachella. Can one really compare the two? If you ask the readers of the Arizona Republic, they are saying no, and I see their point.
Coachella’s sheer volume of acts is one reason. The other reason is Fergie! If you go to the 2008 Coachella line up, you will see what genres and acts frequent Coachella and it isn’t Fergie. So, lets just chock it all up to an insane reporter, who doesn’t know his ass from a hole in the ground, okay?
And to make this count, below is the list of performers playing the Tempe Music Festival on 3/28/08. More Artists will be announced later this month.

As some of you may know, I am a feind for a juicy MCR fan fiction. I am also an avid reader of music blogs. There is one I prefer over all others, www.idolator.com. It is well written and does not involve endless articles about Britney Spears and her woes. It never ceases to entertain my need for music news and knowledge.
The other night I clicked my little bookmarked button for the site, as I do every night. What was the first article that I saw? An article entitled “Idolator Goes Even Deeper Into The Emo Fan Fiction Underground”. I got all amped up because, well, I love fan fiction.
I could go on and on about the article, but that would be useless because I want you all to read it. And yes My Chemical Romance is mentioned. I would also like to employ you to go back to other “fan fiction” article this site has written. Then we can all come back here and discuss your reactions!

Its not a big shock to anyone that My Chemical Romance are nominated for a number of NME awards, but some of these awards are a bit retarded. They are nominated for such categories as: Best International Band, Best Live Band, and Best Video (for Teenagers). Then Gerard was nominated for Best Dressed and then the immediate category following that one, Worst Dressed. WTF? I mean could he ACTUALLY win both? Why allow one person to be nominated for both? What kind of acceptance speech would you give?
He takes his award for Best Dressed; he is very humble about it (assuming he gets it) and then the Worst winner is announced…
“Winner of Worst Dressed is,” dramatic pause with drum roll, “Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance!”
“Thank you people for this lovely award. This is very special and I will treasure it always?????”

What? Are you SERIOUS? Those are the exact questions I yelled at my TV, followed by a few obscenities.
I happened to be surfing around the message boards when I came upon this tid bit of info. Seems FUSE aired an “all new” epidsode of Steven’s Untitled Rock Show yesterday featuring Gerard Way and Bert McCraken together. Well, I blew up my IM’s at 2am this morning, trying to find out if the world was, infact, coming to an end. All I learned from that point until about 3am, was that the SURS episode would be rerun at 4am this morning.
Being the dedicated, and at that point disgusted, MCR fan that I was; I decided that I would stay awake and see for myself.
I chatted the wee hours of the morning away until it came on. My heart beat wildly because the info on my television told me it definately was a “2008″ episode.
Well, thank the Gods above. It was a new episode, but not a “reunion” between the two men. Apparently, and I think this was a shitty attempt at better ratings, they thought it would be fun to bring back the 3 year old Q & A session with them. This was, in their words, in honor of the new Taste of Chaos tour.
Thank you STEVEN for scaring me half to death! GOD!
