My Chemical Freak: My Chemical Romance All The Time

Manchester show review

October 26th, 2010 | | 1 Comment | Email My Chemical Freak!

Ruth Harrison of FemaleFirst has posed a great review of the show in Manchester, England at the O2 Manchester Apollo on October 24. Here’s a quote:

The highlight of the night for me had to be when some major MCR fan was invited onto the stage to sing Honey, This Mirror Ain’t [sic] Big Enough for the Both of Us. Despite coming in too early a brilliant three times, when his turn to sing came, he sure as hell made the most of it. Tearing around the stage, chucking plectrums into the audience and coping Gerard as much as he could possibly do. He was my hero. Well done kid.

“The Guardian” reviews the London show

October 24th, 2010 | | 0 Comments | Email My Chemical Freak!

Caroline Sullivan of The Guardian has written a review of the October 23 London show at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo. She gave the show three out of five stars; she liked it, but she wasn’t enamored like the fans. Anyway, here’s an quote:

[S]inger Gerard Way is not only attractive, in a spindly, black-clad way, he uses the f-word often enough to seem thrillingly naughty, while guitarist Ray Toro emanates impassive cool as he produces squealing, melodic runs that bring to mind a younger Slash.
