Yesterday a very loved and good man committed suicide.  He was the father of two and suffered from severe depression and bipolar disorder.  We all get depressed from time to time and it sucks.  Some of us, me  included, have a mental illness that, if left untreated, can cause you to do things you wouldn’t normally do.

Please everyone reading this, if you feel depressed, lonely or suicidal, call someone.  Talk to somebody that will talk back.  It is nothing to be ashamed of nor is it anything to keep to yourself.  There is always help.  If your parents, spouse, or loved ones don’t understand or take you seriously, walk into a hospital anywhere near you and tell them.  They will take your seriously.

Bottom line… don’t take matters into your own hands.  There is always another option.   You are loved by many even if it feels like you are not.  There is always another way.

And if you know someone suffering from depression and are near the end of their rope… extend a hand and offer help, lend an ear, or at the very least tell someone who can help them.
