My Chemical Romance and MASScanvas have teamed up to bring artists, fans, and T-shirt design enthusiasts the “My Chemical Romance T-shirt Design Contest.” The band is looking for people to submit a T-shirt design that represents the theme “Good vs. Evil.” Best part: not only do winning designers earn some serious cash and recognition, but proceeds from the winning tees support the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Watch the VIDEO HERE

In-progress designs and qualified contest entries will on display at HERE
Public voting takes place from July 23-31. The band will pick the ultimate 5 winners based on the top 20 designs from the public vote. The 5 winners will be announced via video by the band on or around August 18th. Only these top 5 designs will be printed and sold in highly limited editions HERE
-The 5 winners will each receive $1,000, and the top seller will receive an additional $1,500.

I must appologize to everyone reading this. The last two months have been a bit crazy. After the tornadoes hit here we didn’t realize how long the process of putting the pieces back together would take. Through generous people such as yourselves and MCR the families that lost so much and so many are slowly finding new places to live, replacing their belongings, and rebuilding their lives.
In the coming weeks I hope to get things back going with the site. With all that said I do hope if I have readers left, you will accept my appologies and check back soon for the news and photos you got used to seeing! Thanks for your continued support of this site!
Sincerely,
Brandi

The MCRmy are epic in gettting and giving help to those in need.
Tonight my heart is very heavy for the people of the town of Smithville, MS. Nearly the entire town was wiped flat by a tornado today. Smithville is only a few short miles from me.
They are in severe need.
Me and several others from my town have organized a donation drive for the people of Smithville, Mississippi. Tons of people were killed, even more were injured and countless people lost all of their belongings along with their homes.
There were other towns affected by the tornados that ripped through the south today, but none quite as severe as Smithville.
If you would like to see photos and video of the damage please go to the donation drive Facebook page.
To donate money to help all of the people of Mississippi that lost their homes to the storms over the last 24 hours please go to the North East Mississippi branch of the Red Cross and donate funds via their site HERE.
Every little bit counts.
If you would like to send a care package to the people of Smithville, my town (Nettleton, MS) is taking up donations and you can mail the packages of supplies to me at
Brandi Dabbs
107 Pecan Ave.
Nettleton MS 38858
I will see to it that they are dropped off at the drop off points for our towns drive.
Thank you for your time and compassion. And if you do nothing else please keep the people of Mississippi in your thoughts and prayers!

With the premiere of Planetary (GO!)’s video there was speculation that Bulletproof Heart would be a single also. There will infact be a Bulletproof Heart Video.
Gerard Way talks to MTV about the possible direction of the video.
When we last left the Killjoys, they were dead — gunned down at the conclusion of My Chemical Romance’s video for “Sing.” That clip was a continuation of the DayGlo outlaws’ assault on the nefarious Better Living Industries, a campaign first launched in the “Na Na Na” video and one that’s central to the theme of the band’s Danger Days album.
