World Contamination Tour Leg 2 Recap

The second leg of the World Contamination Tour began in November with a trio of promotional shows in Los Angeles followed by a short round of radio station shows in North America. The map above lists all the cities they played in. Start with the dark red circle and connect the dots from there. The circles in the boxes are shows in either Los Angeles or New York City. The states and provinces the band played in are in pink (California, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, New York, and Ontario).

The band played a total of 17 shows in 10 different cities in Canada and the United States (five of which were in and around Los Angeles and four of which were in New York City). Four shows were shown on television (one more will be shown on New Year’s Eve) and three more were shown online. Links to video of these shows are included in the list below. All in all, the band played seven promotional shows and 10 radio station Christmas-themed shows.

My Chemical Romance kicked off their World Contamination Tour in October with a short circuit in Europe. The map above lists all the cities they played in. The countries the band played in are in pink (the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, and France).

MCR played a total of 11 shows, including three promotional shows: one for MySpace, an NFL game, and a private show for BBC Radio 1. All three of these shows were professionally recorded, and links to the videos are provided below. This leg of the tour was also the first time the entire band has performed as My Chemical Romance in over a year. (The band minus Frank played with Weezer in on September 21, 2010 in Los Angeles, CLICK HERE for a video.)
