THIS is apparently the cover of issue 1. The variant cover is the Jim Lee one. The series photo is the one of the Car.
“The Umbrella Academy has saved the world, but the house they were raised in is destroyed. One member is bedridden, the side of her head held together with tape; and another has lost her voice, the source of her power. Now that they’ve fulfilled their destiny, does the Umbrella Academy have any future at all?”
This issue boasts a whopping 32 pages with NO ADS!

Yeah you read that right!
Apparently, he appeared in a movie called “Oh! My Dear Desire” in 2003
IMBD.com has him listed in the credits. I know what you are thinking though, no its not a different Bob Bryar.
Click HERE to see him in the cast list.
Click HERE to make his Credits page of other works (MCR appearances are mentioned!)
We now know his whole name, Robert Nathaniel Cory Bryar, if their info is correct!
WOW (runs off to find this movie)
Not clear yet what part he played in the movie.
Thanks UMCRS for the tip!

Will this November’s Issue of TUA be a one shot? Or is it the beginning of the full series?
I read This article and it completely confused me! So stay tuned for further info as I find it.

I have been pondering for about a week I suppose, the name of the new UA series or well at least the first issue.
Press releases from dark horse have dubbed the new tale “A story as American as a 1961 Lincoln Continental”. So I started chatting with friends about it. One said friend thought, “It must be to do with the elections”. I thought possibly as well but the 26th of november is an aweful bit late to promote voting and such.
Then I thought hmmm look at the photo.

What does it remind us of?
John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas on November 22nd. The release of TUA series 2 will be much closer to that than the presidential election.
Take a look at the photo of the car that JFK was in when killed…

Notice the flags on either side of the front of the car, its a convertible, white wall tires, totally not sure on color. Thinking black because it was a presidential “limo”. Last but not least… Kennedy was killed in 1963. Look at the picture of the cover.
So what else could it be?
JFK, Killed IN Dallas, IN NOVEMBER, IN 1963, IN a car very similar to the one on the cover. How will it tie into the story? Will it at all? Now I am all psyched up! I have to know what it’s going to be about.
Any thoughts? Am I pissing in the wind here? What do you think?
Thanks to johnnie for sending us the other motorcade photo.

Gerard: ‘This really means so much to me … Me and my kid brother used to grow up – we used to grow up? Everybody used to grow up! (audience laughter) We had comics and that’s the only thing we had to escape the kind of place we lived in. And it made us lift up our heads, make up our own stories. And we got older and we did the same thing and played music – but we always missed comics. And I always wanted someday to come back.’
Thanks ‘Scott Allie for really believing in me, and actually helping me and Gabriel to make one of the riskiest comics, at least to me. It wasn’t an easy sell.’ Says, ‘I’m really nervous with large groups of people!’ Thanks ‘our family here at Dark Horse,’ ‘my wife who’s here, who I love very much,’ ‘my kid brother,’ Sierra Hahn, ‘Gabriel, who really does all the hard work,’ Dave Stewart, and James Jean.
Gabriel: Thanks everyone he forgot to mention last time, thanks the audience: ‘If you come to me I will thank you personally!’, thanks ‘Gerard, cause I really liked his book and I really wanted to work with him.’
And finally:
2.40.30 Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá present three awards (including Best Digital Comic to Joss Whedon and Fabio Moon for Sugarshock).
