Earlier today we announced the winner of the t-shirt contest. Due to the overwhelming number of entries we received I decided to draw another name out of the lot and give away this KILLJOY necklace also.
The winner of the Killjoy necklace is…. Aleighsha Tuaiti! Congrats Aleighsha! Your package will be mailed first thing in the AM!

The site made local news! I think this will conclude the site’s 15 minutes of fame. 
And while I am at it, I just want to say that I appreciate each and every MCR fan out there, especially the ones that are so nice to us here at My Chemical Freak. No matter who you are or what you are doing in the end we are all the same, obsessed MCR fans.

I am all for freedom of speech (and so is MCR) and I wouldn’t be sticking it to the man, so-to-speak, if I didn’t post a fellow fan and friend’s publication in an AZ paper.
In an article posted on the Examiner‘s website Vinny explains…
“Lets forget for a moment that a great deal of this bands fans are not 18 and could not vote against it, the fact that Zach De La Rocha thinks he will collapse the Arizonan economy with the actions of his Sound Strike organization is truly ridiculous. Even if EVERY artist stopped performing in the state, it would not put nearly a dent in the economy, and definitely not enough to change the opinion of the government. It is blatantly obvious that the ONLY ones who are going to suffer from this ‘movement’ are the local venues, the bands, and most of all, the fans who wholeheartedly follow these musicians.”

I do understand the hurt felt because the artists not performing in the state. MCR has never played in Mississippi, but not for these reasons. So here is hoping all this is resolved soon for the fans!

Ok , ok so maybe its not the international day of SING for anyone other than MCR fans, but for the band this could be cool.
Spain fans and fan club manager got a chance to go to a listening party at Warner Brothers Spain! The group concocted a plan that would be pretty cool.
Basically all you have to do is go onto Itunes November 19th and buy MCR’s single “Sing”. If each fan bought one copy of the song we could make ”SING” hit the top of the song’s sold list on Itunes. The video for “Sing” comes out November 18th. If you have already purchased a copy of “Sing” it doesn’t cost very much so why not send it to a friend who hasn’t been able to buy it?
The group from Spain were also given some pretty cool promo items to spread the contamination! Here are two cool door hangers!

Hello from Vinny. Just thought I would put a pic up of the new litho since it just came in today. The back has all their signatures, and they all stamped it with their new signature logos, I’m assuming? You’re guess is as good as mine, but you can clearly see that Gerard’s stamp is the same as the new twitter account @PartyPoison, however matching the rest doesn’t seem to be as easy. I’ll also post a pic of their signatures all together and then a seperate close up of each one, for you guys. Leave any ideas and thoughts in the comments section [I want to know which othe rlogos correspond with the twitter accounts!
