As a parent of a little kid I have seen this show a thousand times but NEVER with My Chemical Romance on it. I have seen plenty of rock acts such as Good Charlotte and Jack Black belt out a tune or two on there. On Dec. 18th MCR appear on Yo Gabba Gabba’s Christmas special, “A Very Awesome Christmas”, singing the original song “Every Snowflake Is Different” on Nick Jr. at 8pm. Don’t have to wait though. Check out the video now!
“Adele and My Chemical Romance are among the artists set to record new versions of Bob Dylan songs for an upcoming album. The four-CD Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International is due to go on sale on January 24 with all proceeds going to the human rights organization.”
Will it be the one they recorded for “The Watchmen” soundtrack or will it be another song? I guess we won’t know until it comes out!
“Jeez, time flies friends. Where did the hours go? One year ago today Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys was released into the world. I honestly cant believe its already been a year. I must say a year into any of our other records and it felt like we wrote the songs a lifetime ago… But with this one it kinda still feels brand new somehow. I dont know how to explain it. But maybe thats a testament to the way we feel about this record. I dont think every stone has been unturned with this one yet.”
Frank did a photo shoot with Justin Borucki and there is behind the scenes video of Frank putting on his make up!
If the video doesn’t work simply click on it’s title to see it on Youtube. I never know when it will or won’t these days with all of Youtube’s new rules.
“My Chemical Romance guitarist Frank Iero has designed a six-string guitar for Epiphone called the Phant-o-matic. “I took the body from the Wilshire, I took the Anico Humbuckers out of the Les Paul, I put the Les Paul neck on it and headstock, changed the tuners around, and fucked a little bit with the electronics – and we made the Phant-o-matic,” Iero tells Rolling Stone.”
From the artist’s perspective. Comic book writer and artist, Jonathan Rivera has written a blog post about his involvement in the making of My Chemical Romance’s singles “Na Na Na” and “Sing”
