“SING” has topped the Modern Rock Radio Chart! Who needs iTunes charts when they got this?
February 16th, 2011 | mychemicalfreak | 18 Comments | Email My Chemical Freak!
Needless to say, few My Chemical Romance fans liked “SING” as performed by the cast of Glee. There was a massive outcry on Twitter, Facebook, and various fan sites (such as this one) that it was “not great”, “horrible”, etc. Maybe that comes from disliking the show. Whatever it is, you can’t deny that it dropped My Chemical Romance in the laps of people who had never heard of them. Which I assume was the point of allowing the cast to perform it in the first place.
So how did it fair for My Chemical Romance after airing? According to THIS article it has bumped the song to #3 on the iTunes charts.
What are your thoughts on the situation?
