The American NME Awards have announced their list of nominees.  The categories including My Chemical Romance are as follows:

I don’t know about you guys, but I am one jealous chickie!  I have always been envious of those who have the pleasure of picking up NME Magazine from their local news stand.  Well folks, wait no more!  NME is coming to AMERICA!

How?

First off, they are bringing their awards show to us.  Right now you can go and cast your vote (if you are from the U.S.) for the best this and the best that, for the upcoming awards show that is to take place in L.A.

My Chemical Romance were nominated for several Shockwaves NME awards, as I had reported to you.  Those award winners have been announced, and sadly, MCR didn’t go home with any of them.

Its not a big shock to anyone that My Chemical Romance are nominated for a number of NME awards, but some of these awards are a bit retarded.  They are nominated for such categories as:  Best International Band, Best Live Band, and Best Video (for Teenagers).  Then Gerard was nominated for Best Dressed and then the immediate category following that one, Worst Dressed.  WTF?  I mean could he ACTUALLY win both?  Why allow one person to be nominated for both?  What kind of acceptance speech would you give? 

He takes his award for Best Dressed; he is very humble about it (assuming he gets it) and then the Worst winner is announced…

“Winner of Worst Dressed is,” dramatic pause with drum roll, “Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance!”

“Thank you people for this lovely award.  This is very special and I will treasure it always?????”
