Well if you have unlimited text messaging on your wireless plan no it doesnt cost. If you dont have unlimited it will count as receiving a normal text message. But no there is no cost for signing up and as far as i know it is for only united states cell numbers as of right now. Very sorry!

I live in the U.S., but my cellphone carrier is a local one that isn’t on the list. Can I still get updates?
