We have had hints of it on My Chemical Romance’s new twittering, the photo Mikey posted of the bass with Watchmen on it, and all of them being in L.A. together.
Well now there is confirmation that the guys were shooting a video for Desolation Row!
Gerard’s getting ready to shoot the video for Watchmen’s “Desolation Row” with the band, and hanging out with them while they’re in L.A. Talk of an Umbrella movie continues to move forward, and Gerard is in all those meetings — at least all the meetings they tell us about.

theyre not even doing desolation row anymore.
i read somewhere like 2 weeks ago they are doing a different song. Still a bob Dylan cover, but not desolation row anymore.

no, they are doing Desolation Row. They recorded it a long time ago and have been performing it for a while. It’s also the song that most deals with the movie. unless they were going to cover All Along The Watchtower but that’s besides the point because they announced the Desolation Row Watchmen Picture disc like 3 weeks ago.

Watchmen is the best graphic novel ever produced. Go read it.
It’s coming out as a movie in March and looks seriously kickass.
It is set in the 80′s and has multiple references to Bob Dylan and various other musicians.
Gerard Way is a big fan of Watchmen and got into talks with the Director about it. They covered Desolation Row for the soundtrack, it’s the closing titles song.
Does that clear it up for you?
