OMG, I never thought GERARD would have the first MCR baby!!! But I’m wondering too if a baby will affect or *gasp* end MCR. A baby changes alot of things, and this new baby will be Gerards top priority. Which probably means settling a family, adjusting to be a father and no more long tours. I’m very happy for him but can’t help being worried. I’m going to his comic book signing on Friday. You guys have any ideas on what I should ask or say to him?? I’m so nervous!!!

I was sittin’ on the bus when my friend called me to tell me this and I swear I made this weird half scream sound and everybody was looking at me, HAHAHHA I CANNOT BELIEVE IT I’M SO HAPPY FOR THEM!
I hope it won’t affect the band… I don’t think Gerard would let it affect the band that much that they split. Maybe he will just… spend less time with touring and such.

End MCR? Puhleeze. Now Gerard will have a baby to pay. Kids are not cheap. He’ll need MCR for the money, if anything.

Everyone who’s freaking out because they’re worried that MCR will have to disband because of the baby needs to relax. Plenty of people in bands who have kids are able to continue the band. Chester from Linkin Park, for example, had his first kid in 2002, and now has 3 kids (I think), and look where they’re at right now.

Of course MCR are not going to disband. There are at least several of us here who realize. But, in balance, it does make me wonder as to how this might affect immediate future MCR plans. I didn’t think any touring would be done until the new album comes out. Now, if I go by how the tour section of the website is worded, it looks like there might be an early 2009 tour, pre-album (assuming they don’t rush an album out between now and then which is always possible). It’s almost as if they’d be trying to get some dates done before Gerard Jr. shows up. At any rate, I would say Gerard’s getting his full “go live” experience that he seemed to be dying for by May of this year.

i just heard the news bout Gerard and Lindsey becoming parents…i know slow…but im a new mum myself…but what i wanted to say is NO FREEKEN WAY their bub is excatly a year n one day before my lil boy was born!!! Sweet is all i can say!
