I think what we see when other performers dress in Black Parade style is nothing more than a testament to how influential The Black Parade is and was. As I’ve said before, I think history will look back in 20 or 30 years and will declare it one of the greatest albums in rock history; it’s true art in its most all-encompassing way. Bottom line is that it’s more than the sum of its parts and not just some post-emo album that a lot of critics tried to initially write it off as.

i agree with you on it being one of those rock ablums that won’t be forgotten. i know that when i have children i can pop the black parade into the stero and be like this is what i was listening to when i was a kid. and know that it still rocks cause musically i find it untouchable (exception for a few more bass lines would but cool) but altogether the black parade is an awesome amazing ablum that won’t be forgotten for decades to come.

Oh and I completely agree with you Brett. I can really imagine people looking back on it as one of the greatest rock albums in histroy in a couple decades or so.
