Title says it all. What did you think once you got it. I’m not talking about the packaging, I am referring to the actual footage that was on the DVD.
Did you think there should have been a bit more? Were you completely satisfied with what was on there? Do you think you wasted your money? Do you think it is the best purchase you have ever made?
We want to know your honest opinion on what you saw on the DVD.

Well I did cry at one point during both shows cuz…..for some reason My Chemical Romance does that to me! lol yeahhh
But the first half was amazing, I have basically showed it to everyone who walks threw my front door. People have to see that, it’s so epic! WOWSA!
The Jersey show was prolly the cutest things ever! They look so alive and they all seem like they were having fun! Gerard was ofcourse hyper cuz of the Red Bull, that was pretty obvious!
I noticed that I Don’t Love you is best live! WOW! So epic
and the new song, which Gee was all “Im not telling you the name because if we go and change it you guys will start bitching.” meanie face! If he only knew we call it “Stay” on Youtube.
But “Stay” always makes me sob. Dunno why again, cuz its so beautiful and breath taking, the words are wow!
I think they should of had a “Behind the scenes” on both shows. At the end of the Jersey show was kinda like “What?! NO! It cant be over” Right after Cancer it just stopped which made me really sad….I WANT MORE! yeahhhh
But over alll. All I have to say is…
The Black Parade Is Dead
was FUCKIN AMAZING!
And beautiful!
Just like My Chemical Romance!

Hey! I watched the New Mexico concert first and then the New Jersey one. I honestly loved the NJ one better, because it seemed so personal and I think that was awesome how Gerard was really talking to the crowd!! Don’t get me wrong they both rocked! If anything, I thought there may have been an interview or a few newer videos from TBP, but I thought those concerts were great!!!!!!

i agree w/ sarah — i would’ve liked some music videos. i mean all of the videos for tbp were so epic, these huge videos, and they didn’t put them on the dvd? that sucked.
i kinda hated how the shots were so short. sometimes just as soon as i realized what i was seeing, the shot was over and i was like wait was that mikey? frank? kind of annoying.
otherwise — LOVE it. definitely something to treasure.

As soon as my awesome super limited-edition TBPID came in the mail last Tuesday, I wanted to rip it open and watch it RIGHT away. But no. That didn’t happen. I wanted to watch it when no one else in my family was around, so no one could see me crying or otherwise freaking out. And my mom didn’t want my littlest brother to hear the swearing, apparently. AND my older brother is a total MCR basher dork and tries to annoy me by peeking in my bedroom when I’m listening to MCR and yell, “EMO!” But NEways….so of course, my stupid brothers didn’t allow that to happen right away, and I had to wait until two days later when I snuck downstairs in the middle of the night and watched it. My mom was still up, and I asked (or rather, PLEADED) her to let me watch it, and she agreed, if only because she was going to bed anyways (my whole family, minus my poser-face copycat younger brother absolutely hate MCR. I honestly think that it’s only because I’m so obsessed. Oh well.).
My mom insisted to stay to watch part of the beginning, just to get an idea of what I’d been so angry about missing the past few days. So she watched up until the middle of “Dead!” when she rolled her eyes and left XD
And the end….”A surprise party?…..For me?…..You shouldn’t have….” *fangirl-ish sigh*
)
So I put the DVD in and saw the menu…..AHHH!
By then I was totally freaking out. I don’t know what about MCR makes me that way….just…..I dunno. I WOULD HAVE jumped up and started randomly dancing/singing, but I had to remind myself that it was the middle of the night, but you wouldn’t have known it because I was so hyper
I was in a daze for about the next hour or so, until the Mexico show ended. I think that my favoritest performance had to be “Mama”…..because of the beginning (“Everybody in the whole place, whole place,…..CLAP!” ^_^), the pyro, and the repeated ‘Mama’ part….if you know what I’m talking about. At the end of that part I was just like, “Lordy, lord, HAVE MERCY!” WHY do they have to be so awesome?
All of the songs were A-MAZING, I do not understand the people who say MCR sucks live. It just hurts me to say that, even…I mean, “Cancer”, THAT was awesome, right there. I listened to the CD several billion times before watching it so I couldn’t help but notice those *melodic enhancements* he makes…..Gerard astonishes me in his awesomeness…..ALL THEIR AWESOMENESS. When I was still half-sane during “Dead!” I was just in awe, like WHOA! during Ray’s guitar solo…..just like, ‘I wonder if he’s a good teacher…..’ *_*
Gotta love Toro. You can sometimes hear him on backup and I sort of see what he means by having a girly voice (“I am, in fact, a male.” LOL).
SO now on to the Jersey show. I think actually I like this one better than the MC show, because of their interaction with the audience and in that one you can actually tell more that they’re having insane amounts of fun up there. Every once and a while I actually caught Mikey smiling. *le gasp* Not that he doens’t smile, but he doesn’t seem to be the obsenely-large grin type like Gee and Frankie (and sometimes Ray) are when they’re having their pic taken. Bob, well, he’s just Bob. XD
SPEAKING OF BOB……”Have you ever noticed that Bob’s hair gets in his mouth?…he really should cut that shit!” (<–not exact
I can’t wait to find out the name of ‘Untitled’ a.k.a. ‘*Stay*’ Gee’s right, though, we [us MCR fans] WOULD probably bitch about it. But still. I can’t wait to find out. It’s ‘awesome’ apparently. “Would you stay right here?
When I tell you,
That someone out there loves you.
Would you stay right here?
Well I’d tell you,
That someone out there loves you after all.”
*sigh* So brilliant. I couldn’t tell what all the words were, so I Google them and couldn’t help but smile. I HAVE TO KNOW THE NAME! THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME! GAH! :K
*broad grin* I don’t know what else to say but that TBPID was…..(I can’t think of how to describe it in one word)…….awesome? Terrific? Terrifically awesome? Super-de-duper? Crazily good? Dunno. What I’m trying to say is TBPID was all of the above adjectives and more, which is nothing less than I would expect from a band as *insert all above adjectives here* as MCR. Can’t wait until their next album drops….supposedly next year. I know there’s just more awesomeness yet to come!

I LOVED it. I think it was money well spent. I however, do agree. It would have been great to see some music videos, or even some behind the scenes/bacstage footage or interviews, like on Life on the Murder Scene.
Still, I thought the DVD was great.
I’ll have to agree with Sarah~Kate; The NJ show was my favorite. Seeing the interaction with the crowd was great. Everybody was having a blast and wanted to be there. I was very jealous of the people attending. Plus it was cool when they played “Stay” or… untitled, I suppose.
The Mexico City show was also cool because it was more… sentimental, for lack of a better word, being MCR’s last show as “The Black Parade”.
It was great. I was so happy when I got my Special Edition in the mail. I had been away on vacation in New York when it was realised, so I hadn’t been able to see it until July 4th. When I got home at like 1:30am, a ripped open the box to see that I got Frank’s mask, and then proceeded to get sawdust in my eye. I then proceeded to take many, many pictures and then looked at the pictures in the cover insert while listening to the CD. I didn’t get to watch it until later that night, but it was well worth the wait. :] :] :]
Th Black Parade is Dead!

TBPIS was….terrificly awesome!!!! i love it from the beginning!
I loved both shows! It felt like I was at both shows! I was in the living room watching it and I was singing to it and jumping, and when Gerard said to put your hands up or jump, I did that! In the beginning of the TBPIS, in mexico city, when all the guys were coming out…Gererd looked freakin HOT!! And the “untitled” song…I LOVED IT!!! I cant wait till they actually name the song. Everything was great! Everybody was freakin hot!
They rocked out! I was crying when it was over, i wanted more! But I put on again and again! I never got tired of them! I still watch LOTMS again and again! I love them so much! They changed my life!! I cant wait till their next album!
I LOVE MCR!!!
MCR IS MY LIFE!
