On September 19 & 20th, 2007 Gerard Way made two in-store appearances in New York and Boston to celebrate the debut of his comic, The Umbrella Academy. The following is a brief account of what happened during those two days.

CHECK OUT A SPECIAL SCREENING OF THE DVD

This Monday the 23rd, we’re letting 40 MCR fans get a sneak viewing of the entire DVD of “The Black Parade Is Dead!” at the Warner Bros Records offices in Burbank, California. All you have to do is send an email to blackparadescreening@warnerreprise.com telling us you want to go. We’ll email back 40 of you on Friday to let you know how to get to the screening. You will also need to bring 10 cans of food, which will be donated to http://lafoodbank.com. Please note that the screening will be from 3pm to 6pm, so you’ll need to be available that day, and if you’re traveling to get here, that’s up to you. Good luck!

Apparently this is going to be a My Chemical Romance concert with Panic at the Disco!  Yeah I went ” O_o ” also.

The only confirmation that there has been is through a worker from The Event Center Arena.  This will remain “unconfirmed”  until Ticketmaster, MCR or PATD confirms it.  I will be on top of this as things develop so check back often!
