You know me.. I have to put my opinion in.
I think its great that some kids decided to come out and support MCR. I think its great they are trying to show all that the band is antiviolence/anti-suicide.. BUT…
It is very hard to take anyone seriously (judging from a pic that is posted on this site of the protest) a protester that A. Misspelled “we’re” on their protest sign (we’re and were.. 2 different words…I looked to see if they had put “for realz” on there as well) B. Has a Happy Meal box sitting in front of them.

I agree with Dee.
It could have been so much more effective if they would have been mature about it. I honestly don’t even think that they knew what they were protesting. Were they protesting being called an emo cult, or the fact that MCR was being blamed for suicide? And the documentary……Is that a joke? For god’s sake, it’s called “Emo: The Movie”
For getting so much publicity, I think it was completely wasted on documenting what almost looked like a line for a show, filled with the stereotypes that they’re apparently trying to disassociate themselves from.
But they just reinforced it exponentially, by showing that they can’t even be serious about something that they’re supposedly so passionate about.
I have a feeling we’re going to be mocked for a very, VERY long time for this one. It’s embarrassing.
