My Chemical Freak: My Chemical Romance All The Time

My Chemical Roller Coaster?

rockit-roller-coaster.jpg

I know what you are saying to yourself, but it’s not what you think.

Universal Studios is set to open a new roller coaster attraction next January.  The “Hollywood, Rip, Ride, Rockit” boasts being the tallest roller coaster in Orlando, Fl.  That alone has “wow” written all over it.  Not to mention what you will get to do while swirling through bends and turns.

Crunch Gear is reporting not only will you reach death defying heights, you will also get to pick the music to which you might meet your death (only kidding about the death thing).  Each rider will get to select a track, My Chemical Romance to be one artist featured, AND be filmed while riding the coaster the ENTIRE time you are on it!  You can then purchase a “Youtube” friendly video (meaning you are allowed to post it on youtube) after the ride is through.  Your video will be set to the music you choose!

Complicated?  Sort of, but you have to admit if it all works out, this will be pretty freakin’ sweet!

Note:  For all you grammar enthusiast, “rockit” is spelled correctly above.  It’s the coaster creators trying to be clever.

The Black Parade Is Dead: More Info

It has been brought to my attention that the original message about the DVD/CD combo delay is, in fact, an accurate statement.  It was made by Warner Brothers Music in Spain.  AbsolutePunk.com is reporting it to come out in June/July.

Trailers from the DVD will be put out in April instead of the release of the entire combo.

I will let you know as more information becomes available.

MCR and The Muse?

Ok so I am doing my random news searches today and stumble upon an entry in NME’s “reviews” page.  I am not even sure why I read it, because I am not a HUGE Muse fan.

But on to the point of this entry; NME claimed, in a very non-direct way, that My Chemical Romance’s opening performance at Wembly Stadium would be on Muse’s new DVD!  I frowned and scratched my head when reading this.  It’s not extremely clear if the entire day’s events will be featured, but that is what NME.com was saying.
